DURALAST® Detectable Warning Plates by EJ help warn blind or visually impaired pedestrians of the approaching street. Engineered to outlast the sidewalk, this long-lasting cast iron design withstands rigorous urban conditions, such as snow plows, street cleaning machines, and vehicular traffic.
Durable and Cost Effective - DURALAST plates are produced from extremely durable, corrosion-resistant cast iron. An independent lab found the wear index of DURALAST was more than 500 times that of composite warning plates. DURALAST plates are engineered to outlast the sidewalks in which they are permanently embedded; long-wearing plates yield cost savings over the life of the sidewalk.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant - The natural finish of the warning plates meets color contrast requirements. It features a slip resistant textured surface, and is DOT approved (contact your local Sales Representative for specification approvals). Bolting or interlocking feature ensures compliance during installation.
AASHTO M 333-16 Compliant - The natural finish meets color contrast requirements. The dome size and spacing, as well as the overall size of the detectable warning surfaces, meets minimum requirements.
